Alien-lookalike and Chilli and BananaSmashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan (now known as William Patrick Corgan) says he witnessed a human being transform into "something other than human."
So naturally, aliens ... or human shapeshifters?
Corgan was on the Howard Stern Showon Monday when the subject of Corgan's appearance on the The Alex Jones Showcame into the conversation. For those not in the loop, Alex Jones is an internet and radio personality who pushes fake news and insane conspiracies to right-wing nut jobs, including the one that alien lifeforms are living on Earth.
That's when Corgan revealed he's had his very own paranormal experience.
"Not to add to the conspiracy, but I’ve had paranormal experiences in my life that sort of lend itself into that category,” he said.
Corgan said he was embarrassed about his experience, and wouldn't give many details, but essentially, he says he witnessed a person transform into something he "can not explain."
"Let's just say I was with somebody once and I saw a transformation I can't explain," said Corgan.
"The person transformed into something other than human?" Stern asked.
"Yes," Corgan responded. "I saw it."
Naturally, the show's cohost Robin Quivers asked if he was on drugs, to which Corgan responded: "I was totally sober."
Corgan later says that the other person acknowledged the transformation, but would not explain what happened. Corgan refused to offer any additional details.
"I'm being vague on purpose," Corgan said.
Well Billy, we have some questions.
