While the video was posted in January, it's recently surfaced thanks to eagle-eyed Twitter user Josh Jordan, who reveled in its absurd delight.

The instructions seem too absurd to be true but Jordan checked the instructions in the video against those on the official GE help website and they match up perfectly.

At least one YouTube commenter couldn't help wondering if 30 Rock's Jack Donaghy had finally made it to the head of GE.
So much for "smart" technology.
