But, seriously. Anthony Scaramucci, Donald Trump's newly announced White House communications director, lasted a mere 10 days in his new role. He technically hadn't even started yet -- his official start date was supposed to be Aug. 15.
Though Scaramucci's stint was beyond brief, it really makes you think about the trove of world records and other impressive feats out there that were able to outlast his 10 days in Trump's White House.
SEE ALSO: Scooch, Mooch: Scaramucci is already out as White House communications directorHere's an incomplete list of things that somehow lasted longer than the Mooch's White House run:
Yeah Mooch, magician David Blaine stayed suspended in a glass box 37 days longer than you lasted in the White House. In 2003 Blaine spent 44 days just chillin' in a tiny cube without food ...
You know it's bad when a match made in uppercase-K hell lasts longer than your political career. While reality star Kim Kardashian and NBA player Humphries were ridiculed for their short marriage of 72 days, their love lasted over seven times longer than Scaramucci lasted with Trump.
In an interview with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live, Kardashian said, "I knew on the honeymoon it wasn’t going to work out." Clearly The Mooch felt the same way.
The current official record for longest ice hockey match is 250 hours, 3 minutes, and 20 seconds--in other words, 10 days.
But earlier this month, a group of Buffalo recreational league players participated in a hockey game for 11 days straight, unofficially setting a new world record and simultaneously raising over $1 million to fight cancer. So. Much. More. Productive. Than. Scaramucci.
A Nigerian DJ spun tunes for just as long as Scaramucci was in the White House. The DJ record from last July was set in a Lagos cafe where he couldn't repeat a song within four hours of playing it -- and someone had to be dancing at all times. No one was dancing after Scaramucci let it rip on the record with the New Yorker.
A wanted fugitive crushed Scaramucci's time with Trump. Victor Manuel Gerena was on the list for over 32 years. Years. The Mooch's time can't even be rounded up to a single year.
Scaramucci stormed into the White House, but he blew over quickly. Instead Hurricane/Typhoon John lasted 31 days as it moved across the Pacific in 1994.
According to the Guinness World Records website, one woman sneezed longer than Scaramucci stayed in the White House. LOL, everything is fine.
On Jan. 13, 1983, Donna Griffiths, of the UK, began sneezing and didn't stop until Sept. 16, 1983, setting the record for longest sneezing fit at 976 days. She reportedly sneezed around 1 million times, and we're not even sure Scaramucci had time to sneeze once in his 10 days in Trump's administration.
Bless us all.
Scaramucci outlasted the longest amount of time a male held his breath: just over 24 minutes.
But we're not holding our breath for the rest of Trump's team.
