On Friday evening, Greisman tweeted a screenshot of a text with his mother. "Just some really helpful advice from my mom on how to deal with my Olympic crush," he wrote, blocking out the part where he reveals his crush is Rippon.

So what did Field do? She retweeted the screenshot to her 58,000+ followers on her verified account, and TAGS RIPPON. That's right, she straight-up called out her son, not only to Rippon, but to the world as well.

Greisman reacted just about exactly as you'd expect, simply responding "yikes" to his mom.

Rippon, who's very active on Twitter, has not liked or responded to the tweet, but the rest of Twitter sure ate it up.

While we feel for Greisman, sometimes moms know best?
