The exchange began after the departure from the team's driver coach Sandra Kiriasis. Kiriasis addressed her exit in a Facebook post and stated she was responsible for their sponsors and the sled, and legally obligated to take it away.
The beer company didn't waste time coming to the country's first bobsled team's aid.
"As a beer born and brewed on the same island as these athletes, we want to ensure they have what they need to proudly compete," Andrew Anguin, senior marketing manager for Red Stripe, told AdWeek.
As a result of their kindness, fans of the bobsled team are turning into new beer lovers.

According to USA TODAYSports, the company is negotiating with the federation to determine the final price. Until then, we can't wait to see what the sled will look like for the upcoming game.
