Wagner College enters the contest 16-15 overall. On March 12, Wagner defeated Merrimack 54-47 in the NEC Tournament championship game. Melvin Council Jr. leads Wagner College in scoring and rebounding with 14.6 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game.
