Chairman of the Beverley Beekeepers' Association, Chris Coulson, said it could take some time to safely move the hive. "We are trying to make them fly," he said. "In the box on top of the car we have young bees, some eggs and things like that and the bees in the car will hopefully try to cover those to make sure they don't die."
Hopefully the bees can be comfortably relocated to a better home -- preferably one that's not sitting in a driveway.
