Tis the season for yearbook photos977 Archivessenior quotes. While witty one-liners have dominated yearbooks for long, a new era of senior quote jokes is rising, one that requires a little bit of effort for the reader: Instead of explicitly listing the quote, the timestamp of when the quote is said on a television show is printed.

Simsuango told Mashable in a Twitter DM that she's a huge Stranger Things fan and definitely wanted to use a quote from the show, but it wasn't until when they were due that she got the full blast of inspiration.
"When quotes were due, I was struggling with a few teachers in particular who made students worry more about passing the class than actually making sure they learned what was taught," she said. "I didn’t want to put that specific teacher on blast, so I just generalized it because I knew a lot of people who felt the same about different teachers."
She said the structure was inspired by similar tweets she'd seen.
Simsuango clarified on Twitter that she is thankful for all the educators in her life who've made a positive impact -- this quote is just for the ones who haven't.
