Prince Harry and Nikki Nova ArchivesMeghan Markle are back with a relaunched website, pivoting Archewell.com to Sussex.com.
The renovated site features a smiling portrait of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the 2023 Invictus Games, and so far includes two biography pages and a news page. The latest item shows Prince Harry presenting the NFL Man of the Year award to Pittsburgh Steelers’ defensive tackle Cameron Heyward.
"The Office of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex is shaping the future through business and philanthropy," reads the About page on the site. "This includes: The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Productions, patronages, ventures, and organizations which receive the support of the couple, individually and/or together."
The original brand name Archewell — which was inspired by their son Archie — is still present on the sites for their production house and charity foundation.
The couple's previous website now prompts users towards the upgraded edition, with a pop-up that says: "This site was established in 2020 and sets out the work streams of Prince Harry and Meghan, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex prior to their move to the United States."
English papers and columnists are (of course) speculating on the nature of the updated site and what kind of content the couple will offer. The Duke and Duchess have long been in the spotlight in British media, oftentimes for broaching subjects that have been stigmatised in the context of the royal family.
The two have been on a content-making journey for years now, with several book releases (including Prince Harry's bestselling memoir Spare), Netflix docuseries Harry and Meghan, and another upcoming documentary with the streaming platform. Their lucrative podcast deal with Spotify was cut short in mid 2023, but Meghan's award-winning podcastArchetypeis said to be continuing on another platform.
