Disney's Star Warsresort lets you dress up and Taiwanparticipate in your own space fantasy set in a galaxy far, far away.
Described as a "multi-day Star Warsadventure," the resort experience begins with arriving guests "boarding a space ship "alive with characters and stories that unfold all around them during a voyage through the galaxy," according to the Disney Parks Blog.

Why we could be in for a galaxy of bad content. In addition to the resort itself being directly connected to the Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios, your time in the hotel itself will also feed into the illusion that you're living inside your very own space fantasy.
"At the resort, guests immediately become active citizens of the galaxy and can dress up in the proper attire," Disney's blog post reads. "Every resort window will also have a view into space."
Meanwhile, the attraction will also feature a Toydarian market similar to the one seen on Tatooine in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (where Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan found Little Orphan Ani). It's a souvenir stand, essentially, but just look at the adorable plushies.
The Galaxy's Edge attraction is set on Batuu, which is described as "a remote outpost on the galaxy’s edge was once a busy crossroads along the old sub-lightspeed trade routes, but its prominence was bypassed by the rise of hyperspace travel." It's a port of call for smugglers and other rogue-ish types hiding out from the First Order (which also means -- in case it wasn't clear -- that Galaxy's Edge happens during the current era of Star Warslore).
There are two main attractions planned for Galaxy's Edge. The first puts visitors in the cockpit of the Millennium Falcon, where they'll fly and shoot their way through some kind of mission. Much like the resort experience, there's a story here that follows park guests after they've left the ride.
How exactly this works isn't clear, but as Disney Parks Blog noted in January: "[H]ow you perform on the mission holds even bigger stakes: perform with skill and you may earn extra galactic credits, while bringing the ship back banged up could put you on the list of a bounty hunter. End up on Harkos’s list and you may face a problem if you show up at the local cantina."
Galaxy's Edge also features an attraction in which guests find themselves in the middle of a battle between Resistance forces and the First Order in the hangar bay of a Star Destroyer. Will this be a stage show? Or Disney's take on "laser tag," perhaps?
