Australia loves Justin Bieber and,I Am a Plaything evidently, Justin Bieber loves Australia right back, because he just announced a summer stadium tour of the country. Hooray!
Although, things don't always go as expected for him in Australia. In fact, every time Justin Bieber comes to the country, he seems to manifest a plethora of strange "incidents" -- although, arguably, that happens literally everywhere he goes. Need some examples? Don't worry, we've been keeping notes.

Nobody takes him seriously, and when the "pubescent popstrel" lands in Australia the collective eye-roll is palpable.
Bieber was due to appear on the Sunrisemorning show to perform three songs, but the 5,000-strong crowd was so thirsty that several young girls were hospitalised and police were brought in to disperse the lunging crowd. And that was before he'd even showed up. One news outlet said the YouTube star should be grounded and sent to bed without any Playstation.
Only one year later, Bieber was performing in Sydney when a cheeky 17-year-old decided it was time he paid for being … young or successful or something. So he broke into the city's Acer Arena through the roof, mid-concert, and began hurling eggs at the singer from above. A video of the incident titled "Australia! The only country brave enough to egg Justin Bieber" got over 20,000 views in its first day. Which was a lot back then. Poor Justin.
While staying in the QT Hotel in 2013 on the Gold Coast in Queensland, a naughty Justin Bieber decided to graffiti the outside wall of the hotel, 'cause really, who's gonna stop him? Gold Coast City Council ordered the hotel to remove the art, with Mayor Tom Tait saying he would supply the "pop princess" with a graffiti removal kit himself. Luckily, this local Bieleber and fellow artist was there to capture the work before it vanished from the history books forever.
Then in 2015, a bunch of nosey fans captured some rather depressing footage of Justin Bieber skateboarding across a large section of the Sydney CBD. How did they capture it? They just straight-up stalked him with their camera phones because that's the world we live in now.
Anyhow, Bieber tried to live his life by skating over important public sites and, belieb it or not, a security guard didn't like it and told him to leave. "He may be famous but it doesn't mean he can ride around here!" the unnamed guard reportedly said. "He was a danger to pedestrians, this is private property." Poor Justin.
Australian actor Luke Pegler, one of the stars of the upcoming Mel Gibson-directed war movie Hacksaw Ridge, recently told the Herald Sunthat he almost yelled at Justin Bieber on the set, mistaking him for a random skateboarding delinquent while he was shooting a naked scene. Turns out Bieber was working on the next set over, and just looking for some "me time."
Bieber just cannotcatch a break Down Under.
UPDATE: Feb. 21, 2019, 1:29 p.m. AEDT This article has been edited to remove the name of the cheeky kid who hurled eggs at Bieber, as the perpetrator was a minor at the time of the incident. (Obviously. No adult would opt for eggs.)
