Toddlers and babies speak a language all their own. I mean, that was the premise of Boss Baby, right? Rugrats? It's practically its own genre at this point.
But in real life, it's harder to get inside the mind of these little bundles of joy. Their brains are developing, and they when they do respond to the world around them, it's not always clear what they're saying. Frazzled parents often have to rely on context clues to decipher whether or not their baby is uncomfortable in a particular onesie, or if they just don't like when you tune in to The Bachelor.
One man seems to have cracked the code, though. A video of a father and his baby has gone viral after the mom, Shanieke Pryor, shared a video on Facebook of their adorably witty, full-fledged conversation.
SEE ALSO: That 'Baby Shark' remix from Coachella has been releasedIn the video, the duo are seen chilling on a couch while watching a TV program, engaged in an in-depth back and forth. The baby babbles and rattles off gibberish, but the father responds excitedly as if he had just heard the hottest take on the program. The baby's expression too is priceless and totally engaged when the dad says things like "That's exactly what I was thinking!" and "Really? I thought the same thing!"
Conversing with babies? Totally cute! Benefiting the baby's brain growth and language development? Also cute, and great parenting!
